Dale Richie first hit the music scene in the late 80’s as the bass player for a group called the The Groove Tubes and  played at a number of pubs, clubs and other events in his local region.  By the summer of ‘91 he found himself at the heart of the London underground dance scene ad experience a new music revolution in its making first hand. 

After selling his guitar and amp to fund his addiction for vinyl he’s been mixing it up ever since.  By the mid ‘90s he co-founded the Chimaera Sound System with a bunch of like-minded individuals and for the next 10-years their custom built sound system could be heard blaring all night long during the summer solstice forest parties, from mountain tops in Wales, castles in Luxemburg at festivals, marches and wherever else there was an opportunity.

After realizing how music has a profound effect on people he took his inquisitive mind one step further and conduct control experiments on subjects during his university years and investigated the physiological and cognitive effects of music on people was published in a psychology journal in 1997.

In 2004, he moved from the big smoke of London to the long white cloud of New Zealand.   With appearances in a number of clubs, bars, radio stations, outdoor parties, festivals and endless private parties he still has the same thirst new tunes to add to the mix.
